Who Could Benefit From Fish Oil?
Fish oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are classified as essential to a healthy, optimally functioning cell. The fact that they are essential means a couple of things;
1. Your body does not make them, so they have to be consumed.
2. You need them to be healthy, it is not an option if you want to be healthy. (hence the word essential)
So based on the above reasoning anyone who has cells would benefit from taking fish oil, this means everyone alive must consume the same Omega-3’s found in fish oil if they want to function correctly and maximize their health.
Adults vs Kids
The only difference between adults and children is the amount of Omega 3’s needed. For the purposes of this post lets keep on track and keep it simple everyone needs to take in Omega-3 fatty acids everyday if health is their goal. The easiest, most effective way to get these Omega-3’s is with an animal based oil. Fish oils are an excellent relatively inexpensive (50 cents/day for the best Fish oil I have found in my research) source of these Omega-3’s.
