Omega 6 Monsters
We are in the season of monsters, ghouls, ghosts, goblins, etc… but there is a beast lurking in your body that you may not know about. If you have ever seen someone who suffers from some form of an inflammatory condition such as arthritis and has had the crippling effects of long term swelling (that is what arthritis is) which corrodes their joints and narl their fingers/toes, you have seen what kind of a monster too much omega 6 fatty acids can be to the body. It also pays to look into increasing your omega 3 intake to battle the overload of omega 6 and balance out the beast within you. That is right you are in control of the potential monster waiting to slowly change you from a happy, healthy, mobile person into a pain ridden, unhealthy, cripple wishing you had a way out of this curse.
Where Do I Get The Antidote
The best source for stopping this contagion is pure, highly concentrated sources of omega 3’s, especially EPA/DHA loaded sources like fish oil. (plant oils contain ALA, not EPA/DHA) Incorporating these vital nutrients and decreasing the unbalanced scourge that is omega 6 will help to decrease the chances that some day you are wearing an omega 6 costume that you can’t take off.
